Lee Simmons – one of Britain’s most sought after creators of public art – was commissioned by Great Portland Estates to design the street entrance to 55. Drawing inspiration from the nearby Grade I listed All Saints Church, ‘Arcus’ incorporates monumental blocks of Portland stone, prepared and shaped to celebrate the ancient skills of hand stone carving.
